Our Team
This website is a division of Galapagos Adventures, Inc. which was founded by Ken Weemhoff in 1991.
Ken Weemhoff was trained as a Biologist and has been an avid scuba diver for over 35 years. He is one of the pioneers of the Galapagos dive industry. He began organizing and leading dive groups to Galapagos in the early 1990s, a time when the infrastructure for diving in Galapagos barely existent. He fell in love with Galapagos and has helped thousands of other divers experience Galapagos though his company Galapagos Adventures ever since.

Rodrigo Sangolqui and Fanny Paltan are a delightful Ecuadorian couple that have worked with Ken for many years. They always provide outstanding service to our clients. They are our representatives in Ecuador so should you encounter any problems in Ecuador, their assistance is just a phone call or email away. They own and operate Galanet S.A., a Tour Operator and Travel Agency in Guayaquil Ecuador, which handles all of our airport transfers, baggage, logistics, and optional mainland tours. They will insure that all aspects of your travel goes smoothly.
They also own and operate the Macaw Hostel, a small, charming hotel situated only10 minutes from the Guayaquil airport.
